Recommended BMW service department in SOCAL??

Hey guys, im about to go in for the 1200 mile break in service but was wondering if anyone has a service department they recommend in SOCAL?? Name of the dealer and your SA will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

if you are near or close to the SFV...

Center BMW in Sherman Oaks: Andre Ashegian has been my SA for over 9 years now (for my e60 535i, e90 m3, and my current f80). Jose Hernandez is another SA I've dealt with when Andre is out of town or off. Both are great and "mod friendly". I'll be calling my SA tomorrow actually to set up my M service as well...currently at 1100 miles...

I know bev hills and Santa Monica are both generally awful dealers but when my 2007 E90 was still under warranty I had a guy at Beverly Hills BMW that took good care of me. I need to look up who it was. If anybody has any good guys at those 2 dealers it would make my life much easier.

Been using jeff baker in bev hills since 2006... Won't take my car anywhere else... Nicest guy you'll ever meet bar none...

not sure of your location or how far north you want to go but Rick Walters is the guy I have all the forums members go to, he is awesome. You can contact him (just let him know your a forum member) or you can PM me your contact info and ill have him contact you. Whatever is easier

Plus we have the huge outlet mall across the street you can goto to kill some time

Do u know if Eric or James would take my car in at 7k miles? I still have 2k before my next service but i'm thinking about bringing the car in every 5k miles

How long have you had the car? Im pretty sure if it has been a good while since you've had it they will take it in. Stop by and talk to them, real straight up and cool people

I came across this post and see its a few years old. Was wondering if anyone had any current recommendations for service departments? My former service advisor at Century West recently left and I am on the hunt for a new advisor. Thanks!

I used to go to McKenna and have Leena as my Advisor but since she left and then I got Daniel Saldana -- who didn't look over my car carefully and caused scratches and kinda just talked me into a loop about fixing it (Never got fixed) Leena was definitely more careful. One thing I hated at McKenna was because I am not over 30, I cannot get their BMWs as a loaner and I got enterprise cars. Ranged from Dodge Challenger, Cadillac XT4, Infiniti Q60. All trash cars.

Since I moved, I go to New Century in Alhambra. Nothing but great service with SA Pamela Chen. Kept me up to date PLUS I got BMWs as rentals even though I am not over 30. All I do now is text/email her tell her what I need and when I can drop the car off and to reserve a car for me. I drop my car off the late in the day before my appointment and pick up my loaner, and then when the car is done, I bring it back when they said the car is done. Sometimes they tell me my car is done at 4 PM but I don't bring it back until the day after after work. Some dealers are sticklers about their 24 hour policy but YMMV.

If it matters to you, they only had free bottled water at New Century. McKenna had like coffee and soda as complementary and a restaurant inside (for a cost). I enjoyed sipping my coke in the morning when they pull up my rental car, now I sip bottled water.

I'm in West LA and I use New Century BMW in Alhambra with Eric (have also heard great things about Pamela as well) - def worth the drive. Helped me transfer my warranty when I bought my M3 and my most recent large service - everything can be scheduled online (even the loaner vehicle) and they'll text you updates while the service happens. Would recommend with no hesitation on any BMWs
