The mic is positioned on the middle of the diffuser, just run the cable through the trunk and take the mic. Can't wait to use this mic on the track

By far the best video I have seen to capture the sound loved loved the sound
Some people may not get this but the gap/pause in sound when shifting was something I really missed when I had the DCT. I could never replicate that sound on the DCT even in manual mode. Just sounded like a consistent sound with quick change in tone when the gears shifted. Totally loved hearing this again Can you please post the picture of the mike mounting location and the wire routing. I leave for Munich in 6 days and am using the same setup but the route will be in the Dolomites and Swiss Alps

Can't wait to get past the 1200 mile barrier to open mine up. Too many business trips driving Ford Focus rental cars lately.

I came from the e60 M5. The growl of the V10 was always intoxicating and one I miss... When I first drove the M4 I really didn't like it, so I planned on an F10 M5. Over time the desire for a new car versus another used took over and I found myself working to like the M4. When my wife said, "I love the color, get that one!" I was like, okay!
After a few months of ownership I have realized that what I don't like is the low rpm lugging sound from the motor. Slushing from 1st to 2nd is such an Eeyore like sound. Yet, when I have a chance to get on it and run a few gears from 4,000 to 7,000 rpm, the motor sings and I love it! I am always frustrated having to back out of it. Today I figured it out. My favorite engine note is the 1967 Ferrari 312 F1 car. The Shell commercial at 11 seconds () teases us with such a joyous sound. I realize that at 4k and above, the M4 has the same type of sound. I was listening to Powaup's vidoe and noticed it big time. Awesome!
