New 2015 BMW M4 Coupe!
Hi guys!!! After 15 years of driving BMWs (323ci, 328i and 535i) I had convinced myself it was time to try a different brand. I test drove a Porsche Cayman base and was sure I wanted that car. I actually did not like the 535i I had. It was not fun and was too big for me and felt like I was driving a barge sometimes. I was looking for something smaller and a lot more sportier and fun. I don't like the look of the BMW Z4 and wasn't considering it.
So I put a deposit on the Porsche and was told it would be here in early November and they would give me some credit for ending my BMW lease early. I thought I was all set and ready to put BMW behind me. Well, not exactly. With 6 months left on my 535i lease a sales associate from the BMW dealership called and asked me if I wanted to end my lease early and get into a new car. I told them sorry, I already settled on the Porsche Cayman. The sales associate said I must come and test drive the M4. I always liked the M4, but it felt it was out of my price range once you start adding options. I went in the next day to test drive the car and I loved it. The car was gorgeous and loved driving it. Although it was about $12K more than the Porsche Cayman I built, the lease deal was so much better and the car had a lot more options and was more comfortable. It was the last day of the month and the sales associate was eager for a deal and I did it!!! I now have a beautiful Mineral Grey/Sakhir Orange interior M4 coupe with mean looking black grills on the front. So here is to another 3 years of BMW driving!!! The Porsche can wait Here it is! |

Welcome back to the fold!
Caymans are great too. But I'm not huge on full size SUVs. I prefer Benz GLA or the Porsche Macan :P
