Stage 1 Complete: IND, carbon bits, spacers and clear bra
Thanks to Cat@IND, Eric@********, Tom@EAS and Ryan Burroughs (AutoPG) at Auto Paint Guard here in Tampa for helping me get the car looking amazing.
Last weekend we did a paint correction on my car with the help of my neighbor who was a paint professional for 20 years. We then installed the carbon front lip and splitters, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, all paint matched and black out parts from IND, Matt Schnell spacers (18/15) and my M-Performance Pedals. We sealed the paint except for the edges so the bra would remove nicely down the line and then I dropped the car to Ryan to do the full front and rockers with film. I am going to seal the film tomorrow if it ever stops raining here in West FL. So happy with the car! Going to enjoy it as is for a while and invest in the part between the wheel and the seat before doing a JB4 and downpipes

Haha! I hear you. My old self would kick me in the shin for spending that much on crap that just makes the car "look" better. Next stage is two-day M school and seat time at the track. I'll prob end up picking up an e36M that is built to get reacquainted with the track since its been 10 years since I was out there. Then I'll use the M4 as a street beast and my commuter car to and from the airport.

Thanks Chris for bringing the car into the shop. We still need to meet up and share Euro pictures.
We carry all films, Xpel Ultimate, Suntek, Clearshield Pro, 3M, Avery etc. On Chris's car he wanted the clearest films available, so we went with Clearshield Pro on the bumper, and double layer on the rockers. We also used Suntek on the entire hood, fenders, lights, and mirrors. Clearshield is very durable and less prone to punctures so went with that on the high impact areas then used Suntek on the upper parts to match the paint perfectly. In regards to the window tint we used the Suntek Ceramic 35% all with 50% on the shield. Sorry, I had to post the license plate. |
