Coding in Ontario
I will be taking delivery of my M4 in about a week and would like have some coding done to it asap.
Does anyone know of a shop anywhere in Ontario that can do it? Some of the things I am interested in doing in no particular order... Mirror Fold/Unfold with Fob & CA Windows/Roof up & down via Fob and CA Turn Car off when opening the door(No 2 presses of Start button) Dynamic Brake Lights - Euro Version Euro MDM Rear Fogs to blind tailgating, high beaming assholes Turn on active LED headlights Anything else I should consider? Thanks all. |

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think someone mentioned here before that when we do the 1200 mile service they reset the computer in the car :
I would like to know if this is true if anyone can clarify

There was no consensus on that in the coding forum, some said the dealer does it, some said they don't. That if you meant by reset is reflash a new version? In any case, not a big deal on the condition that they don't flash the car w a new unsupported version by Esys and the current version 55.4 psdzdata, you just re-code it! In case you haven't noticed, you thread moved to the Canada subform, you're best to read the coding DIY subform that has relevant threads on what works or not for coding ... |

ACSM: Disable Welcome 3 Gongs: 3000 → Initialwarnung_GWF_IW = nicht_aktiv Turn Off Seat-Belt Reminder Chimes: 3000 → SeatBeltReminder_SBR_Fahrer = nicht_aktiv 3000 → SeatBeltReminder_SBR_Beifahrer = nicht_aktiv HU_NBT Module: Set cell phone ringer as primary -- see my thread 3003→INBAND_RINGING set to: aktiv werte=01 Turns out the problem I for not related to coding but I still didn't like this feature. Basically the phone rings! Not the speaker of the car, and if you out the phone on vibrate, then the car speaker relays the phones ringer. Disable Active Sound Design: Next on list 3000 → ASD_SOUND_OFF set to: aktiv Remove Legal Disclaimers: 3001 → LEGAL_DISCLAIMER_TIME set to: kein_ld 3001 → MACRO_CAM_LEGALDISCLAIMER set to: kein_ld |
