Unless you "Hamann out" your whole car (wheels, body, etc.) not sure the reason. JB4, Dinan, AA, are some of the more popular choices. Also there are some ecu tunes but I know nothing about them. FYI, big fan of Hamann wheels, etc. I have a JB4. I have also been a customer of AA and I have earned at least one Dinan badge.

Im looking at their website and they have no details about the tune, which sensors it connect to, features, dyno to prove their claim, etc... I would just go with the Burger tuning option. Stage 1 if the car if you are keeping it stock and stage 2 if you are planning on adding catless downpipes in the future.

To be honest I would not worry too much about which Tuningbox has a TÜV or not. I would rather worry how the tuningbox you install could void your warranty at BMW, even with your approved TÜV seal.
The only tuning box that you could install at an official BMW dealer is the AC Schnitzer tune to 520ps, but only because AC Schnitzer covers full engine warrenty for the following 3 years, but it comes at a steep price. Afaik MischiMischi has this tune running without problems. |

If TüV and warranty is important for you, get in contact with AC Schnitzer or Lightweigt. Those are the two possibilities you can choose, if you need the Tüv approval.
Warranty is another issue. I have choosen the Schnitzer solution and I am really happy with it. Yes it is quite expensive if you compare it with JB4 f.e. - but it is more or less the same like the Dinan tune - you will keep an official warranty if anything happens. This is what you have to pay for. The AC Schnitzer tune adds 80 hp to your car - my M4 now has 553 PS and 700 nm torque. this is a lot of fun! |

Good morning,
Hamann is not a bargain as well - regular price would be 3800€ + 19" VAT. Is the Schnitzer even more expensive? Hamann and G-Power offer a warranty as well - but that is kind a joke. Damages are covered with 5000€ - engine with 10000€. |

Schnitzer is more or less the same price level. And also the warranty is not unlimited - but Schnitzer says, that they will find always a solution with the customer. And I know some examples, where Schnitzer has paid everything |
