I thought I'd start one to post all the pics rather than posting a new thread for every update. This summer has a lot in store for my car. Most the work will be done at Trackspec Auto in Fremont. I organized it in the order most likely to happen. Stage 1 is actually starting tomorrow with the paddles and trim wrap, tint on the 29th at Elite Auto Films.
Right now the car has the OEM Exhaust Mod, Gloss Black Grills and Gills, and reflectors shaved. Made some updates to the list, everything got pushed back because I really want to pick up the exhaust after hearing it yesterday lol. Part 1: X Tint (35% or 20% all around) X Verstrabe Paddles (From Ebay) X PYSpeed Matte Carbon Wrap Part 2: X Meisterschaft GT2 X Dinan Struts X Eibach Pro-Kit Part 3: X MS UD Pulley X MS Stage 2 Intake X Mode Carbon Spoiler X MS 12mm & 10mm Spacers X V12 LEDs Other Potential Summer Mods: X Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps X Powder Coat Wheels Satin Black X Wrap XX-Pipe + Tune Mods of the Future: X Hardwired 9500xi XMode Carbon V1 Lip Mode Carbon LM, Arkym, or Hamman Diffuser Carbon Fiber Side Skirts Forgestar F14 or some other wider wheel StopTech BBK IG: thepersianguy Last edited by pooyab; 07-07-2016 at 06:11 PM.. |

Got it back after matte wrap and paddle install. Love that it matches the OEM trim.
Uploaded from iPhone, might upload better ones later.

Do you guys think I should go with 20% or 35% tint all around?

If you plan on tracking, keep em clear. Some clubs don't allow tint.
I'd go 35%. Just enough to keep the sun out but not enough to hamper a lot of visibility. Car looks great! |

I'm leaning towards 35 because of that reason. My friend has 20 or 15 and he has to drive with his windows down at night sometimes lol.

Got the tints done, and ordered the Meisterschaft GT2. Here's a quick iPhone pic, I'll post some better ones when the car is washed and exhaust is installed.

Well the Meisterschaft GT2 is on and one thing is obvious, it's much louder than videos depict, but I still think its good for daily use. I can see why people sy it become undrivable on streets with an x-pipe though. I've had it on for a day and already got a couple thumbs up, even ran into another forum member. Tints are on too, definitely illegal, but I drive with my windows down most of the time anyways. Here's some pics, best I could do without a full camera, have some videos I'll post up soon too, need to edit a bit first. Pretty happy with where the car sits at the moment, but of course the modding never ends. And thanks to Tom at Black Market Racing for the smooth process and quick shipment.

Went on cruise today after C&C in Santana row, got to test out the new springs. Pretty happy with the Eibach, they are good enough for canton carving and the height is nice, but now I definitely need to get those spacers, wheels are too tucked it.
I watched my exhaust vid and on the video it barely sound different to my OEM mod so I didn't even bother editing. Exhausts really are terrible to judge through video, must hear in person before purchase. Instead I'm working on the video of the cruise with the new GoPro. Should be done soon, I'll post that up with pics of the Dinan struts and the drop. I also have Mode Carbon spoiler coming, DTECH V12s, carbon mirror caps and a tow hook mount to fix my front plate ticket lol. Might get the Mode Carbon V1 lip too.

Nice car. Same as mine but mine doesn't sound as loud as loud as a planned demolition site. Did they say why Meisterschaft puts that weird vertical slat of metal in the exhaust tips? I think it'd look better removed if you can find a guy to cut it out and refinish the inside of the tips.

Quick Update: Here's a video from the drive to Santana Row C&C and a cruise with some friends afterwards.
Here's some pics of the Dinan Struts and the car with Eibachs. Hard to tell where the wheel gap is with a dark car and the dark tires. |
