Finally getting to join the cool kid's table!

Sorry for the lame iPhone pic, but there will be more to come and from a proper camera soon. But for now, I must share that I finally am getting to join my favorite side of these forums, the e92 m3 club.

Until recently I had a 2010 335i m sport 6MT, with xdrive in alpine white with coral red interior. She treated me well, but i had always loved the m's and wished i could have one.

Last week, I got lucky and found what was perfection to me. A 2012 LeMans Blue e92, complete with 6MT, Extended Black Novillo Leather, competition package, Premium Package, and the carbon fiber roof. And now, to begin what I hope will be a very full journal.

now for the fun to begin, and there will be so much more to come.

You got a very nicely spec'd car! Enjoy in good health and remember to keep those revs up! This a different beast than an N54/N55 equipped car.

Awesome. I also came from a 335, you'll NEVER want to go back. It'll take a couple of weeks to get used to the different power band but once you do, you'll love it. Congrats!

Thanks! It's so true, i love the nature of the S65 so much compared to the N54, it's such a monster by comparison with how she pulls in the high revs. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks! I couldn't agree more!! I was a little nervous that i would miss the low end torque, but the s65 is just such a phenomenal engine that i don't miss the n54 at all, and so far am very happy with my decision to go after an e92 rather than the M4.

Thank you! I felt the exact same way, i had always wanted to find a LeMans blue one, and when i saw it in person i kind of had to have it.

Yeah, it definitely was surprisingly hard to find. Especially with the carbon roof and a 6MT, it seems every other LMB is a DCT or has a sunroof. I found mine hiding at a dealer south of Denver, she had actually just been traded in the day before i went to look at it.
