After months of research trying to decide between the two sizes on zcp wheels. I finally got rid of my conti's and went with pss 255/275. Absolutely zero rubbing with swift springs and 15mm front spacers and 12.5 mm rear. I did notice a little less power. But not as rough over bumps and tons of traction.

You think the same size spacers would work with KW HAS?

U should be good. U may rub on the inner rear fender lining where the bumper and rear quarter meet. All depends how low u go.

Your car twin.

OP, aren't 255-275 tough to acquire? Hearing they are on backorder all over the place for months.

I'm getting springs.

Congrats, OP. @Edward hates himself for not upsizing when he had the chance.

How did you notice loss of power with tire change? You mean you have more traction and think that means less power?

Probably butthole dyno

He knows there's more rubber so it means more unsprung weight. That's supposed to slow you down in theory, however if he had worn stock size conti's, it's almost guaranteed even with extra weight, the better grip helps him accelerate. With my old contis, I'd lose speed at full throttle in first and second from tire slippage on the not so generous euro MDM setting.

I have no idea how my tire guy got them. He has been searching for a couple of months and called me yesterday and gave me some good news.

U are correct my conti's where In fact pretty much at the wear bar. With the traction off the car would be all over the place. I did that with the michelins today and good luck trying to get wheel spin. What I mean by loss of power and have heard it with other guys with the same set up ur increasing more weight and slightly wider tires. I could be wrong but I found it to be a little sluggish and feel more weight especially In the steering.

It's when you money shift the 6MT with your butthole. This is prob why DCT is deemed the better tranny.

Same here, I think combo of weight and increased OD took a little snap away.

So now we should choose 6mt vs dct depending on whether we lodge the gear shifter in our ass?

Totally agree, no doubt it looks better. Deja vu seeing your M3. My old girl with PSS 255/275 w/Dinan Stage 1.
