Turbo Upgrade Kits?

I've seen the Pure Stage 2 Turbo upgrade, and the results are pretty damn impressive. Talked to Roman at ESS and they'll have one out pretty soon, anyone out there running the Pure setup, would love to know your thoughts.

Haven't seen any other companies offering kits yet.

And your able to run different configurations with it if you add jb4

I did, and waiting. I got flamed for asking a while back. Top Mount Twin Scroll for me.

Not sure what they were flaming you for.....It's inevitable really, the s54 was singled the n54 was singled and the s55 will be singled as well.

It would be interesting to see a dyno with the same turbo on each motor to see how the curves look.

Well its settled, I'm going with Pure the kit its just plain nuts!!! When I talked with them a lil while back they said with a bit more tuning they'd be seeing 680+whp and they delivered!!!

I saw the pure stage 2 perform at shift sector and that thing was sick !!
Their kits have been really popular on the N55 platform as well

I picked up my car yesterday with the ESS kit. Honestly nothing impressive on the results, at least the drive. When you factor the stress involved I would had gone JB4 and downpipes and called it a day. I have not dyno'd yet.

No kidding, in for dyno and would love to see some quick head to head vids against another F82 with JB4 or ESS piggyback. I'm already pretty well decided I'll be going with the Pure setup, but I can't believe that the ESS kit would be that big of a let down.

Are you sure whoever did your install didn't F something up?

Even on pictures the ESS / TD UK upgrade looks on the smaller side, they may be the same as the first fail with the vargas ?

The TTE from germany looks a bigger wheel like the Pure offering.

the turbo upgrades itself is the easy part, we are almost done with building our turbos, and will be tuning it right after, no jb4 or stand alone..... just a good ol ecu flash

Pure is the only kit right now worth any money the companies are asking. That's why this thread isn't moving.

Word of advise - be sure to ask and ask and ask questions with details on the kit you are looking to get. You don't want to buy something (spending thousands of dollars) and not get what you are expecting to get. You will be left for dead, like myself.

THANKS Tim!! I'm telling you, it's every time I see her that I fall in love again - it's a fantastic color and I appreciate all of your guidance on my failed attempt to get IB - but the LMB is stunning!!
