Must resist urge for F82...ZCP Wheels installed on E90 (Update:M235i)

Really trying to resist getting into an F82 this year....

Decided to give the E90 some new wheels to try to deter me from trading her in. Thinking I might keep her and grab an e46 ZHP for a daily/winter car so I can keep the miles off the E90 and get a bit more "aggressive" with the mods.

What do you guys think?

the only reason why IMO to upgrade to a F80 is for more power. You can put a few mods into a E90/2 and they will look great.

Keep the E90 and get the F82.

Your E90 looks great BTW.

Add some LCI tails and it may hold off the GAS demons for a lil' while longer. Although, in the end, once the desire to upgrade/change has crept in, it is usually best to succumb, IMO.

False. There are plenty of other things the car does better, but also things that it doesn't do as well (sound for example).

My last girlfriend wouldn't even come with me if I was taking photos or doing car stuff!! This one has been a good sport so far

Thanks! I am afraid, inevitably, you may be correct. I will hold on as long as I can though!

Thank you! I completely agree with your statement as well. I almost want to buy an F82 just for the illuminating M badges on the seats!

Regardless of what you decide, that's one clean looking e90! Very nice OP.

Wow...great stance. What size tires, and any spacers? They fill out the wheel wells perfect.

I should have said better performance, not power. The F80 is a overall upgrade, with a FEW things that i dont like.

Wish I could keep it clean! Weather has been crap lately.

Thanks!

Tires are Bridgestone RE-71R. 255/35/19 Front and 275/35/19 rear. Spacers are 15mm front and 12mm rear. As you can see in one of the photos, the rear is rubbing on this setup. Only on full compression when alone or with a passenger. When I have people in the back seat, pretty much every bump....lol

IIRC, 1.2" front and 1" rear drop on these springs. Might be the lowest drop for springs available?

One of those things being the monthly payment!

She's a keeper! (I mean the car)

the e9x will go down in the history books as one of the best M's. If you want an upgrade, wait until you're ready to +1 to the garage list. just my 0.02

I see stock rotors in the back but true floating aftermarket rotors on the stock calipers up front.

Who makes those rotors? Cost? They look good with the smaller cross drilled holes.

Keep your E90. The F8X sucks so much. I drove my friend's a couple times and I was hugely let down.

Plenty of time to jump to the F80.... i'd let the car age so you can understand what mods to get, where the platform goes, as well as what the competition does. Wait for the M2, RS3, C63AMG, ATS-V etc. to come out..... Enjoy the last V8, enjoy the high revs and the scream of the race inspired motor.
