How Catalytic Converters Work, Parts 1 & 2
We just started a series of technical articles that explain how catalytic converters are made, how they work, why people steal them, and why you should probably be running them on your F80. Here are both parts of the post. Give it a read and let us know what you think or if you have any questions about our cats or anything else.

I don't know of one engine that makes more power with cats than without. Sure they may be more efficient now than when they were first introduced, and yes auto manufacturers are designing cars to work with them. But no, they don't make more power by having them. The real question should be - do you need more than 700+hp? Most likely probably not, so due to the other issues Railgun mentioned you should leave them in place. |
