Finally my BBS CH-R's went on :D
Thought I would share a couple of pictures.
I ordered these bad boys in October... Just in time to throw them into storage I have been waiting for the weather to improve for a month now. Looks like we'll be seeing 20C+ this coming weekend... So it was time. I don't consider the project complete... The lip needs to be painted black, and I need to order some black bolts... But for the time being, I am happy as hell! Also enjoying going from 9.5 to 10.5 on the rears... There is a noticeable improvement in grip and DSC seams to kick in less frequently. Last edited by anom3; 04-22-2015 at 11:07 AM.. |

Sweet! I think the plain steel bolts look good. I think it's a better contrast to match the lip and lettering

They look great! Love the CH-Rs. I just put them on our new S6 myself. My M3 has the comp package so rims look similar to these so left them stock. I would agree with keeping the bolts steel for the contrast.

I personally think BBS CHs are literally made for BMWs....it's so perfect on M3s.
It was hard for me to choose between BBS CH silver vs ZCP silver wheels, but the E9x series ZCP wheels were jus too good this generation...lol it actually is even lighter than BBS CHs, so had to get them but these are lookin good, if i had cash i'd buy BBS CH wheels and keep them for 2nd set.

Wheels look great !
But personal I would leave the lip like it is , so polished . The polished lip gives the wheel... a more sporty look , and serves also as an eye catcher to take attention to the wheel . When your tires are used you should upgrade to PSS...that's the real grip. But I need to say congrats , the wheels look really good !

YES.
This is what I will probably end up doing. Question : Were you able to do this while keeping the tires on the rims? 99% sure the answer is yes as I doubt it "curls" under the tires somehow... But just want to confirm. If so, I'll be doing this tonight! Thanks! |

It looks pretty much like the ZCP wheels in black except for the BMW emblem (which IMO works better than the lead colored BBS letters).
I know those are probably lighter but other than that.. I am really struggling to see why pay so much for a wheel with such a very minor difference. |

can't speak for others but the primary reason i bought mine was because even at 50k miles, the previous owner(s) of my vehicle took it upon themselves to bend the shit out of 3 of 4 of the rims, so they needed replacing. that combined with the fact that i wanted that black rims on blue body look is what brought me to these.

and pull. Then remove adhesive. Can't for the life of me understand why it's there to begin with. Ruins the wheel IMHO....

Nice looking frosty!
Is this wrap or OEM matte MCB? Good choice on wheels. Prefer ZCP black ones over BBS CH but that is just me.
