My first time racing in my family E90m3 in Scotland

Still buzzing from it but I've just had my first taste of competing at my local race track Knockhill. It's a Scottish series, Superlapscotland.
It's similar to Time Attack but you only get 4 chances to set a fast qualifying lap and one fast final lap.

The m3 done well even for being such a heavy car, I ran the 2nd quickest time of the day in my class 58.7sec but sadly in the final I couldn't get my tyres up to temp and only managed a 4th�� 60.2 however I did walk away with a 1st place for the road going class��

I had a EVO 6.5 before and it was great but just can't beat the build quality of Germans machine dude.

Hey,

Just a update in the Scottish superlapscotland event especially having 3 m3's in the competition now.

I missed round 2 due to work but
Alister mowat class E modified/road (<160whp/tonne) managed a 2nd place in his E46 M3, only losing out by 0.041 of a second to a honda prelude in the final.

Alister did take 1st place in the road class E division through.

Paul tough also took a 2nd place in his red e46m3 in class D modified (161-210whp/tonne)

Round 3

We had a close qualifying in class D

In the end
Alister mowat took the victory in modified class E and 1st in road car class

Paul touge took 2nd place in class D modified but also got driver of the day award too.

I managed with a 3rd in classD modified and a 1st in class D road

Next round is 4/5 at July .

If your still reading, the next two rounds will be televised on motor TV 25/26th July 2015 9-5pm uk time
