JB4 Dyno Testing with Map2 and Catless Downpipes

So had the opportunity to hit the dyno and do some testing with the JB4. Car is running 93 octane, K&N Drop in Filters and on 93 octane gas. I have also attached JB4 logs of the runs so you can get more info on how the car was running.

Wow very impressive gains! That is exactly what I wanted to see a very mild safe set up on 91 octane. Very impressive Great Job Mike!

That's what I want to know too...I figure different dynos so not direct comparo and also I think Mike is on winter tires which drops the HP/TQ figures maybe by 20-30? If I can get near 500whp/tq on map 2 without catless DP's that would be awesome but not sure how possible that is

BMS' M3 made 427whp 100% stock while mine made 390whp 100% stock. Different dyno, different weather, different cars, different tires, all play a role.

Didn't you have wheel spin on the dyno based on your logs? I'd imagine thats why yours are way off.

Exactly all you can compare from one dyno to another is the delta and thats if your using the same car with the same setup. Basically you're looking at 80-100 rwhp gain with Map 2 and DP's.

I am under the impression that the 427 whp was with 93 octane. was your 390 on 91? still pretty big difference. Also, gear selection does also make a difference.

The 427 was on 91 octane gas that had octane booster to make it 93-94 octane.

Ya Terry uses octane booster to simulate 93 as he has to fill with 91 at the pump.
