F8x M3 / M4 Dinan Exhaust Video/Sound Clip

After some "technical" difficulties here is a sound clip of the F8x exhaust we released this past week. We will get some more audio/video in the near future as we get some equipment replaced but thought everyone would at least appreciate a quick snippet of the sound.

Sounds somewhat similar to stock but could be different in person.

Nice tone. Were flaps open on that take off?

Color choice!

Should've developed secondary catback exhaust like MPE to eliminate stock resonator.

any dyno's showing this paired with your tune?

rough numbers would mean the car can do 520hp with the tune and exhaust?

please advise.

That sounds surprisingly good for just an axleback!

This. I just don't really see any benefit of an aftermarket muffler-only exhaust when running flaps open on this car, unless it includes replacing the stock mid-resonator as well.

Stock has a lot more rasp in it, I heard very little from this video. I do wonder if they had anything else on it like downpipes.
Don't know if I'm willing to spend 2.5k on a muffler and tips just for sound. Every aftermarket company is over charging for metal. Go cheaper sell more or go high and keep your inventory overstocked or product unsold.

What size in MM are the tips compared to 73MM stock? What's the benefit of this system compared to me buying 90MM Vorsteiner black tips and opening my valves and painting my muffler black for free?

Akrapovic is a good example of over priced. Not too much difference in sound unless you replace more the just the muffler and drive fast all the time haha.
But the price of Akrapovic is ridiculous too

Strictly matter of opinion, but Akrapovic's build quality is second to none. It's good to have choices through, we run the Akrapovic Evolution on our shop M4. Even Akrapovic's catless downpipes are in line with other's offerings on pricing and spot on with fitment.

Looking forward to hearing Dinan's system in person.

All exhaust tones are preference. If money wasn't an option I'd run a full Akra setup myself lol
But justifying the price is another thing.
I agree, the craftsman ship is above all. I'm a big fan of GT Haus as well.
I've recently installed the akra evolution setup on a M4 myself.
Sounds great and they never disappoint
From what I've seen most of the downpipes are comparable in price which is nice to offer the market.

I really need to hear this in person. I plan on running flaps open all the time though, so I am not sure if there is any value for me.

Had 2 M4's in the shop recently and decided we might as well make a bit of direct comparison video so an easier comparison to stock could be made. In my opinion videos and sound clips don't do any exhaust justice and they all sound better in person but regardless this may help a few of you.
