New accessory :)

Just installed the oem cf wing yesterday (yes I know, car is filthy, it's been raining in FL). Mirror caps on the way!

Looks good. I would suggest ordering a VRS Type 2 diffuser as well!

Thanks! Definitely makes the rear of the car pop! I've had the performance cf spoiler on a few of my prior BMW's, so it was a must!

Love the look of your new spoiler. What type of tape did you use on that thing? Was your surface prep anything special or just alcohol?

Thank you. I always use 3M's heavy duty double-sided tape (gray tape with red cover). It does a phenomenal job and I've never had any issues with it.

For surface prep: I used Tarminator to remove the residue from the OEM lip spoiler, washed and rinsed the surface, dried it, then LIGHTLY rubbed and wiped off ScratchX (microscratch remover) where the spoiler goes. I used ScratchX because it's a product that is finely/slightly abrasive, creating a clean, wax-free surface that is easy for the tape to adhere to. I hope that helps!

Thanks. I assume most/all surface prep and compounds would do the trick. Thanks! I also use that tape for a few things.
