TPG Street Exhaust (Mufflers!!) with downpipes!!

UPDATED 4/1/15**** (new Video)

Here is the interior sound clips. I had the levels on my external mic turned up to try and catch as much sound as possible. Most of the noise you hear is road noise but we do talk a little to give reference lol.. Our dialogue is wacky but we only talked because at times it sounded like there was nothing happening lol Not sure how much difference there is, but if you can watch it in 4K that might have the highest quality for best viewing

UPDATED 3/24/15**** (New Video)

Hey Bimmerpost!!

As many of you have seen our other thread containing our Race Exhaust, we have more good news!

Introducing our first fitted and fully functional Street system. This fits the M3 and the M4!!! this one is actually on an M3!

This system utilizes the same 3" down pipes, 3" x-pipe and at the end we have installed a very aggressive sounding muffler setup.

This is a prototype, so not everything you see is our final design. There are a few tweaks for fitment that will include custom mufflers, as well as adjustments in piping symmetry and tip placement. The sound should not change and thats important.

Disclaimer* The exhaust was placed on the car last night around 10PM and in western PA we got snow and rain in the morning when we wanted to go out for audio testing so understanding our excitement to pass on the information we went ahead and made some videos inside a garage. Its actually quieter in person, and sounds fantastic outside. I would guess this exhaust is about 40-50% toned down from our race exhaust buy still exhibits the same deep characteristics including our favorite feature minimal drone and rasp. At redline it exerts itself but sounds like only there. . You can still hear some gargling when throttle is released!!

We are planning on starting to take orders and hopefully have finished production photos and videos within 3 or 4 weeks. In the mean time, here are some photos of the mocked up piece and a short video inside a metal roofed garage lol.. Sorry, blame mother nature for snowing!

Watch in 4K*****

Is that a cold start idle or warm? If that's warm, I'm highly interested.

And can you do burnt tips? If not what about black?

Warm. Was started for two potential m4 customers about 25 minutes before that. Ran for a few minutes to operating temp and shut down for about 20-25 minutes..

wow again! Loved the race exhaust sound, but this sounds perfect as well!!!! No farting, no rasp, this is what the M3/4 should have sounded like stock! Wonderful job

Thank you guys!

We appreciate the feedback.

Sooo Sunday Monday Tuesday will be 45 degrees and zero percent chance of rain. I plan to get my camera and hit the road. Also plan to use a decibel meter and get some readings for everyone as well!!

If we have time we might toss it on the dyno and check out what it puts down vs our race exhaust...

It sounds really good guys, but is it me or does the muffler look of center from the back? Then again I know this isn't the final revision most likely.

Price is phenomenal considering the current climate... This is a full TBE!

Seriously considering this exhaust. I can't wait to hear more.

You have my attention!

An exhaust that dosent break the bank. While its not titanium like others, id rather keep my cost lower.

Excited to see where this goes

Coming soon, but the priority for our company was to maximize the output and factory down pipes significantly cuts those numbers down!! I am told we are going mate this up to factory down pipes, but not just yet.. Please check back soon

That was our whole concept in mind when designing the exhaust... We wanted to offer the community something that was wallet friendly, sounds fantastic and makes a bunch of power. Hoping to have the adjustments made by the end of the week or so, this way we can start taking orders in the following few weeks.

Thanks again!

That's just the thing- There is no need to pay $5-7k for an exhaust system, and in some cases that isn't including downpipes. Go ahead and use titanium, I'll never see it. I'm sure this exhaust will last for as long as I own the car, will perform just as well.

This exhaust looks great, uses V-band, and the welds look like dime stacks at the clamps.

Plus, I will always support an American company making products in the USA.
