My friend just picked up a new car and we took some pictures after a meet at school.
Some other friends decided to join in too at the end.

Sorry they're iPhone pics and lighting is terrible.

Hah, what'd the coppers have to say? I love that coyote engine, but I don't like anything about the way that Mustang looks of course those pics are REALLY dark.

They were on break and came to see our cars. Pretty chill. Yea pics are pretty bad, it was close to 12AM and the parking garage lights are terrible.

That Mustang looks huge compared to the e92, maybe its the angle of the picture. The new GT is very nice, especially for the money, but I can't get over the long hood on the mustang, it annoys me.

The angles of the picture exaggerate it a little more, but in person the Mustang is huge compared to the E92. Much wider, ride looks higher, longer too.

New Mustang looks so much better in person. Was behind a GT this weekend and it looked like a proper sports car. Fit & finish looked very good too.

Surprised it looks that huge next to an M3 though.

All I can say is drive one. The hood literally goes on for a country mile. It is long, flat and in the way! If you've ever driven a 71-73 Stang, it is the same feeling. I hated it. Guess I've become accustomed to the power hump and that's it. Loved getting back in my M for the spirited ride home, and I am a Mustang guy! Or at least I was...

want to talk about a long hood? My c6 Z06. you get used to it...and i test drove my buddys new stang...isnt as bad as the Corvettes hood. Car drives great and feels like our cars...because of the similar characteristics in the handling platform.

Fit and finish is horrible. My buddy's hood/trunk/rear bumper is so bad they rub adjacent panels and there's pieces of paint chipping off everywhere.

I was behind it from my car so I didn't get too close. But from what you're describing, that's totally unacceptable. And I always thought BMW's orange peel paint was unacceptable....paint chipping and panels rubbing is far worse!

There wasn't an NA coyote that could beat me in the 1/4 mile and only one broke even with me from a 1/3 mile 40mph Roll back in September.

Needless to say, I love the look of these new Mustangs. I'm on the call me immediately list when I can test drive a GT350 or 350r.
