Strange sounds coming from the front
Hello fellow bimmer!
I have been hearing some metallic scraping sound coming from the front of my M4. At first i'm thinking maybe pebbles stuck between the heat shield and rotor in the front left wheel like many of you have had so I went to two local BMW dealership and tell them the possible issue that may cause the sounds. Unfortunately both of the dealerships can not pinpoint where the sound is coming from and no pebbles were founded. Occasionally the sound appear when accelerate from full stop and between 1st and 2nd gear or the other way around, and possible during elevation changes. This really driving me nuts. I have been searching solution throughout bimmerpost but seems like no one have the same problem as i do.

Don't know if its the exact same, but when I first heard it I thought my exhaust fell of and was dragging on the ground. It was the scariest noise I've ever heard coming from a new car.

I may have found the source of the problem, or it is not considered as a "problem" referring to the following post.
http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...1012686&page=3 User M4UK states that "I checked the quick reference and full manuals and found these two references in each document to the 'Drive train': essentially expect Clattering or Clacking sounds, off load, as acoustic feedback from the drivetrain!" Seems like I have been being paranoid?

The sound is really annoying.
It happens when my car is moving in super slow speed (no step on the gas) and mostly during elevtion change
