jb4 install

For the guys who are installing the jb4 themselves what are you guys doing to gain access to the MAP sensor. please list the tools and any technique you are using. the space seems very tight

It's actually quite easy to remove the MAP (TMAP is the one with easy access) without removal of the overflow reservoir. You can pry up the clip a little with a flathead to make it easier but even that is not necessary.

I usually use a long right angle pick to get it out and if necessary a long needle nose pliers to get it back in. Takes me about 5 mins max to install stage one

If you're close by Irvine, swing by I'll install it for you. It's literally 5 mins.

how do you get the map sensor out. do you take the overflow reservoir out? thanks for the offer. I will try myself and if can't do it might need your help.

For the MAP plug are you all pushing the tab down or pulling the tab up to disconnect.

If there are Doctors here I used a long fine right angle to get to the Tmap. First install was over an hour without it. Just reinstalled in 10 minutes without touching the reservoir at all with this.
