Jb4 tune

How much does this tune wake up the car. I put maybe twenty miles on my car a day. I guess I'm asking is it worth it for these short trips and maybe once in awhile on the 1/4 mile??

Thanks

It really does improve the car. After I dyno'd stage1 I set it to map0 (off) by accident and the car felt sluggish going home. Once I realized what I had done it made perfect sense.

Even with stage1 it makes a big difference.

With a DP, it should give the car a rather big boost in power.

We just hooked a customer up with exhaust, wheels, and JB4. He will be posting times when he hits the strip soon! He's hoping to break 11's with this set up!

The JB4 really adds to the car. On my personal M4, it makes the commute much more fun... Small freeway pulls here and there, you can definitely tell the difference from stock. The pull is ALMOST comparable to my former 997.2 with Evoms tune.

I think the fastest I've seen was a guy on YouTube run like an 11.9 with a m4 compeltly stock , also there's another one with like 100 octane m3 ran a 11.6 stock , so yea it's possible but a lot of different factors play into the time. I think the majority of us who bring there stock m4s would run a low 12 stock .

12.4 is probably one of the slowest times I've seen for this car.

I've seen more 12.0 and 12.2 than I have a 12.4.

I drove a car w/ JB4 this weekend for the first time. Versus my stocker it definitely is noticeable. Threw me back in the seat. 3rd gear felt like 2nd gear.

From a roll, yes, but not from a dig unless you're going for more than 1/4-mile to give the M3/4 enough room to catch up. I ran 11.1 @ 125 bone stock in my 2014. Many have run in the 10s at 126 stock under more ideal track/weather conditions. JB4/DP/fuel F8xs are in the 11s at 126-127 MPH, but the discrepancy in trap to ET indicates the F8x is accelerating harder at speed.

That's all out the window if you pop the hood the GTR and think of a modification, though...

+1

stock is already fast...stage 1 is crazy fast. 3rd gear definately felt like 2nd gear. Cant imagine going up to stage 2 and stage 3.
