Remus system installed on my M4

Hey guys,

Been waiting for something exciting for my first post and found this worthy. Just finished a complete build on my M4 from European Auto Source including:

• Full M Performance Aero Kit
• 2013 OEM M3 Competition wheels in black
• Remus axle back Sport Exhaust system with Carbon tips

- At first I was wondering if there would be any difference in Sport or Sport+ since it is basically bypassing the muffler. I was worried that it would sound the same as stock- I was wrong...

- I learned that the valves in the exhaust system (both stock and aftermarket) open to varying degrees based on engine RPM, so even if you are in Sport+ mode, in the low RPM range you are still forcing most of the exhaust out of the muffler section.

- The Remus system seemed like a good value for the price and I had a remus system on my e92 M3 that I really liked.

- Build quality is excellent and overall tone is much sportier and throaty. Low speed letting off of the gas pedal gives nice burbles too!

- Agressive driving now sounds much better in the higher RPM range and doesn't really do the farting sound when switching gears. Low RPM shifting is almost like an M5/6 now and gives a harder sound when shifting.

- The look is really nice, the angle of the tips and the diameter looks incredible with the carbon diffuser. Much more aggressive and almost understated looking in a great way.

Here is some audio that I recorded inside the car:

There is no rattling, you are hearing rock or stone debris from typical driving that the mic is picking up since there is a compressor being used on the recording. Zero rattling.

love the rims!! Are they directly mounted, or was a spacer kit needed to fit the competition rims? I was under the impression the offsets wouldnt work on the F8x

Do you find it noticeably louder than stock in sport+ mode? As in, is it worth just doing axle back. Thanks

Not that much louder, just a better, sportier tone, especially with the windows partially open.
