Odd grinding noise

Hey I have a brand new m4 with 730 miles I herd a noise that sounded like gears grinding a couple times today while driving slow turning in a parking lot. Now this has never happen except for today. Car is DCT as well. Has anyone had this issue? There are No fault lights ect. Possible effects from break in period? Any input or comment would be appreciated!!

Thanks!

Most likely a small rock that got caught up in the brakes.

Happens to most of us DCT owners... I described it as dragging a pizza pan on the ground for 1-2 seconds. I got it once in my first 500 miles, never again since

I'm pretty sure I have the same noise and just assumed it was the rear diff. Happens pretty much every time I back out of my garage and down the drive and then slowly accelerate down the street. Usually right after it shifts into second. Never hear it any other time.

You're right. Biggest issue I've had is it goes too fast

Sorry for bumping this thread up.
I keep hearing this "dragging a pizza pan sound" sometimes when my car is moving from full stop (no accelerating) or in certain speed (1-5 km/h).
