ER Downpipes with Dinan tune?

I have Dinan stage 1 tune on my M4 and I really want to get DP's, but I have heard they could cause issues, or limp mode since there is no way to control the boost, or anything else, etc. Has anyone added DP's who also has Dinan tune? Any Dinan dealer experts, or Dinan reps on bimmerpost?

Please let me know!

The ER downpipes will work with the Dinan tune but the tune will not be optimized for such a modification (you will be leaving potential power on the table). You will also have a CEL which the Dinan tune will not correct for. In order to be emissions legal you can not alter or bypass any emissions devices which is what the downpipes and an associated tune that alters readiness codes are doing.

If you want downpipes and don't want a CEL, you will need to get one of the following:

http://ind-distribution.com/ind/bran...elete-r-module

I think this will eventally address codes:

So the downpipes will make my car lose power potential? Not good... Can they re tune my car again after downpipes are installed? Would that help at all?

Downpipes on stock tuning gain power, but to get the full potential of downpipes you need a tune with mapping optimized for them.

Catless downpipes will work with or without a tune.

You'll be perfectly fine with the Dinan/ER combo, the CEL/EVC control can be controlled with the Macht Schnell EVC module.

As mentioned above you can get catless DP and it works fine without a tune, that being said, its a waste of money to get a catless DP and not tune your car for it.
You will also be getting a CEL light without the correct tune.
