Tpms

i have a set of snow tires and wheels and totally don't know why I didn't get the tpms sensors along with the package. Where can I get a set separately? eBay seems to have a lot of sets but don't know which sets will work. Anybody know wat am I suppose to look for?

I called my dealer's parts department about this the other day. Here's the part number: 36 10 6 856 209. He said it was a 433 MHz sensor.

Do they need to be dealer synchronized to the car or will it recognize the tpms as long as it's the right model?

I got mine from Tire Rack. 433MHz. Car should recognize them.

I was worried about the car recognizing them but it wasn't an issue. I went into the vehicle settings menu I believe and hit the reset tpms selection and it was good to go. It takes a few miles to fully recognize. As you drive around it will show the status as a % complete when it gets to 100% it's done.

I emailed a seller on eBay that sells tpms sensors. His are 433mhz but he replied and said that it won't work with the new m3! Isn't it suppose to work if it's the right frequency? Kinda confused now
