Question: 20" rims + tires - H&R sport = ?total drop

I have a quick question..

For those running on 20" rims and tires, I assume your ride height goes up since you cant further reduce the profile of the tires. With the drop on the H&R sport springs, what is the total drop of the car from stock?

I am trying to figure out if I will clear the speedbumps on my street if I run this configuration versus stock.

IMO, it it possible to maintain overall tire diameter by going to a 30 profile tire of the same width on a 20" wheel.

If you are going with wider tires, then yes, the tire diameter will increase. You need to take half of the tire diameter increase to figure by how much ride height will be affected.

For example on the PSS:
275/35R19 -> 675mm dia
275/30R20 -> 674mm dia -> same ride height
295/30R20 -> 686mm dia -> ride height increases by 5.5mm (~0.25")

Ya Ok.. that 1/4" isn't going to mean much since the springs drop the car ~1"1/4 .. Basically I am looking at a 1" drop with 295's .. I'll have to measure my clearance when I get the car and see if I can do the springs. Stupid street.

Have you considered the K&W HAS? You could fine tune the ride height to suit your need.
