Going to be ordering soon, question for those who have had a chance to see cars with stock 18's and 19's together...is it just me or is the front fender gap slightly bigger on the 18's?
I know tires are sized similarly but looking at pictures only I can't tell if it's shadowing or if there really is more gap with 18s...have seen the 18s and they look good in person, but just look a bit small in pictures compared to 19s. :

Wow! That's great. Only 1/4 inch difference in diameter, making difference to fender about 1/8 inch longer...so they essentially equal. Width on front is 255 but won't affect diameter calculation. Thanks Myzmak Also just downloaded the tire size calculator app...cool! |

Since the front on the 18" is 255 also, that calculation is wrong. The 18" and and 19" both has 26.03" overall diameter.

Thanks guys. Helps significantly. Picture is fantastic with the side lighting so can actually see the gap well, and planning on Silverstone also so even better. 18's look good against the silverstone. But so do the 19's...

I knew I shouldn't have guessed... Anyway, here is complete calculation (I use the calculator at 1010tires.com) Apparently 0.01" difference in radius and circumference (but not diameter? Hahaha. The (better) metric calculation shows a whopping 0.1mm difference) so, yeah, really no practical difference.

Took a few days but was able to go to a dealer who actually had more than 1 car on the lot, and luckily there was a car with the 18s and others with the 19s
Fender and quarter panel gaps are the same. Only difference is the higher sidewall of the tire on the 18s has a slightly more rounded shoulder whereas the shoulder on the 19s is slightly more square, making it appear that the 19s fill the gap better, but diameters are the same. The offset (how far tire projected out from the lower half of the wheel well) was also the same between the 18 and 19 inch setup - you can see just as much tire sticking out from front or rear view with either. 19s just have the optical illusion of filling the well better, even in person. 18s are cool rims tho...and lighter...
