Looks good. Seems that you were able to get them before the backorder.

Looks good, but also does not look like it is very cold there.

Also, did you ensure they put the wider wheels on the rear?

Got mine a few weeks ago, light snow on Saturday and a little more today

I couldn't get the package so bought the wheels and fitted Pilot Alpins. Seem good so far. I am finding that MDM mode seems to be the best as in normal the car seems to bog down very easily and with dsc off very good reflexes are helpful.

Interesting how different these look in a Silver finish vs the stock darker one.

They are not the same wheels as the stock 18". They do look similar though. The stock 513M 18s are forged and wider (9" front and 10" rear) while the winter 640M 18s are cast and narrower (8.5" front and 9" rear). The design of the spokes is also different where the spoke on the stock wheels are thinner and pairs are more widely spaced.

No snow here yet. Not sure if we will get any but will take on board your experiences of MDM mode.

The BMW winter wheels/tires look great on your BSM M3. Thanks for posting the before and after pics. Jealous of the euro front bumper.

Hey Hitman, car looks awesome, not sure I'd seen your pics before.

I'm going same colour scheme, great taste you have

Did you feel the winters were essential, I'm 50:50 over getting a set myself.

Hi mate,

Thank you. Good choice! When does your car arrive?
I felt winters were essential for me as it's my daily drive.

Car is built and probably at the dealers any day now. Officially the system says 4th Jan though.

Car will be DD for me too so I've some apprehension about receiving right at the start of UK winter, hmmm. It was supposed to arrive 1st March, but as I've gone sun roof to allow bike racks to be used I jumped the queue big time when there was a CF roof shortage. If it's not too cheeky and you have a minute please could you PM me how much the set of wheels and tyres set you back?

Hi mate.

The 18" 640M Winter Tyre Package that I went for set me back £2340 Inc. VAT.
Ask your BMW dealer about storage. My dealer is storing my summers.

Very nice.

Did you consider the 19" 641M winters?

I did consider the 19" but at nearly £3000 I thought it was too much money.
