Tire & Wheel Insurance?
I currently have a '13 535 M sport package and looking to pickup a new M3 with OEM 19" rims.
Living in the NY metro area I did take the tire/wheel insurance on the 535 running run flats. Last year alone I went through 6 tires and 4 bent rims (mostly on the LIE). None of the bubbles or flats happened in NYC. Thanks goodness for the insurance! Since the M3 does not have run flats are owners (in metro areas) seeing many issues with flats, bubbles, or bent rims with the OEM 19" setup? Thanks! |

I usually don't buy any of these products in the finance office, but they had $750 rebate on it, which made it $600ish. I cracked a wheel last year through my own idiocy and it cost me $400 plus labor for switching a tire/TPMS sensor to the new rim. That was a run of the mill style 397 BMW wheel.
The roads can get pretty bad here after a rough winter. With these forged rims being quite a bit more money I figured I'd get it for once. Not to mention the price of the PSSs. Will see at the end of the lease if it is worth it or not for the next one. |
