Widest Possible Wheel Setup for F82
Hey guys, I plan on ordering a new set of wheels almost immediately after I take delivery of my F82, and I'll most likely go with Forgestar. I had a set of F14's on my 350z, and I absolutely love their Super Deep Concave stuff.
On my Z, I was running 18x10 +10 with 265/35 tires up front and 18x11 +13 with 295/35 tires in the rear. I was hoping to run either a 19x9.5 or 19x10 wheel with aggressive offset and either a 265/35 (19x9.5) or 275/35 (19x10) tire up front, with either a 19x11 or 19x12 wheel with aggressive offset and either a 305/30 (19x11) or 325/30 (19x12) tire in the rear on the M4. I plan on having the fenders rolled (if they aren't already) and getting pretty low on the KW HAS kit around the same time I put new wheels/tires on. I was really hoping I'd be able to run the 19x10 and 275/35 up front and 19x12 and 325/30 in the rear, but I'm just wondering if that will be possible? And again, I do plan on running some aggressive offsets, but I don't want to be running too much negative camber either. I want to try to keep it to factory spec. I had read Tag Motorsport's write-up on the HAS kit, and I saw where running the 20x10 with 265 tires up front caused an issue lowering the car more due to the larger spring perch. Will these be avoidable with slightly more aggressive offsets? Or should I just go with a 19x9.5 instead? Also, is there enough room to run a 19x12 in the rear with aggressive offsets and a 325/30 tire? Or should I go with a 19x11 and 305/30 tire instead? I've included a couple of pictures of the setup I had with my Z, for reference. As that's about how much "poke" I'll most likely be running. |

Please do! I'd love to be able to run a 10/12 setup with some really aggressive offsets, if possible. |

I'll have to do some measuring once I take delivery to figure out what sort of offsets I'm going to go with. I like having a little poke, but not too much. And I'd really like to stick as close to factory camber specs as possible.

this is with a little poke. WE have test fitted for that already and works great with a little camber.

Here's a pic jc05e46m3's F82 running our Flow-Form VMR V810
Front 19x10 ET25 - 265/35/19 RE-11 Rear 19x11 ET35 - 305/30/19 RE-11 There should be enough room for 325. This particular setup still gave about an inch to inch 1/2 of clearance from the suspension. https://www.flickr.com/photos/vmrwhe...57648615544922

Looks great well done.
So that's an "absolutely no rub under any circumstances" configuration? Quote:

I would have gone with a 285/30/19 on the front, other than that the car looks great.

Maybe jc05e46m3 can chime in with his experience with the setup so far Quote:
Thanks! I know for sure 275/30 clears without issue. We also threw on 285/30s, however, didn't attempt to drive around on that particular setup. Looked to be pretty close.
