Who else is waiting for the M2 to be their next M car?
Who else thinks the more compact M2 is the natural replacement for the E9X M3?

I feel like it's gonna be a slightly larger 1M and a slightly smaller e9X m3. I don't know if I would want something smaller than the E90 I have now. I'm definitely enjoying all the utility I get from the car as it sits.

Since it won't be limited production like the 1M, I'm not interested.
Hopefully they make a GTS/CSL model.

Depends on the engine. Detuned S55, maybe. Tuned N55, no thanks.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I was saying if the M2 was limited production like the 1M I would have already put down a deposit to pre-order one when it becomes available.

Although I voted yes, there really should be a "maybe" option. The M cars are getting larger and larger. I'm really interested to see what the M2 has to offer. Then I'll give you a yes or no.

Not me. All of this parsing is bullshit. I have made the mistake of test driving a Jaguar F type R. Faded my M3 lust. Do yourself a favor. Don't drive one. You will be lying to yourself if you say it wasn't superior to what we measure our street or track fun by.

The Jag is great.
There are plenty of performance cars once you tick off all the options on the new Ms. I'm sure ZCP and individual option could drop $100k on a new M. My issue is my E92 is a toy not DD for me ( an E60 535i does that job really well for me). When you look at the performance and DD car argument the segment for $90k+ cars isn't really to do both. You are not going to drive from SF to LA with 4 adults in the back of a new M3 comfortably however a 535i does it better and probably just as fast ( not quickly). |

As for OPs question, I can't wait to see what this car will look like, I'd probably love to get one in addition to my E92, the next RS3 sedan looks very promessing too! |
