BMW Style 331 (8.5x19") on a 128i Sport package

Hey guys -

I just picked up a set of OE BMW Style 331 wheels from an F10 535i xDrive with Sport package for $250. (because why not?)

I never intended to mount them on my E82 because I thought they'd be too big, ride hard, look weird, rub, ect. But I put them next to the car and they look kind of nice.

The wheels are 8.5x19 with a 245/40/19 tire. Square setup. Will they fit?

It is possible with different tires (less sidewall, not as wide) and a roll and possibly pull on all 4 fenders. Those are good looking wheels though!

Rear offset may have you doing the Wheel Hub& e9x rotor mod ( Cheaper and easier ona 128i vs 135i) because Apex uses a 9" wide wheel with a higher 50-60 offset to fit on 1 series. Therefore the mod will allow you to increase clearance.

front - seems like a camber issue and a slimmer tire.

The wheels are quite heavy, so just realize its all for show

Thanks for the help guys. I'm going to leave them off of my 1er - as I suspected, and you confirmed, they're too compromising.

This thread has a 9 wide rear offset 45, so maybe some hope for you
