I am taking my F30 in for its first scheduled service. I am aware of a recall on the Vacuum Oil Pump. However, what software/ecu updates should I be asking for?

I know about complaining about a problem with the Auto Stop Start - this is supposed to update the ASS and also update the steering feel. Is there anything else I should be asking for or trying to get?

My understanding is that with some update Launch control and Sport+ mode becomes codeable on the 2013 models. I just want to make sure I get that update.

you're basically on the right track. tell them to do all the TSB service updates. the Auto Start/Stop remembering logic is 1, theres supposedly an update for steering (some dealerships arent aware). I never heard of anything about the oil pump.

As far as i know there is no update for launch control that the dealer can do. YES it is codeable....but the dealer wont do it..you need to find someone to do it
