New 335i M-Performance
Hey guys,
New to the forum and also the BMW world. I have always been a BMW fan and decided to go ahead and jump in to a starter bimmer F30 and go from there. I wanted AW with Red interior. I got the car with 1.9 miles on it and after 2 weeks of driving I have just over 500 miles on it. I have always modded my cars and I'm going to keep this one stock. List of options: M-Performance Exhaust Carbon Fiber Spoiler Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps 19" M Wheels M Brakes Black Kidney Grills Adaptive LED Executive Comfort Driver's Assistance Came with M-Performance Stripes but took those off day 1 So far the car is great - the exhaust has gotten slightly louder each day and you can definitely hear a difference in tone between comfort/Sport/Sport +. This has the M Performance kit to raise the HP to ~330 and has plenty of power low in the RPM range. I really bought this car because I have my eyes on an M5 and wanted to drive a BMW for a few years to see exactly what I wanted when I ordered. I had no idea about BMW individual and am going to spend a little bit of time to order exactly what I want. As far as the F30 - for highway speeds comfort is fine but the car feels too nimble and light around town in comfort mode. The red interior is nice but I wish the seats were Merino - the 5 series seats are so much more comfortable than these, this is the only thing that will make me go M5 instead of M3 in my next car. Look forward to spending some time on here with you guys! - Bryan |

Hi Congrats and Welcome
Thats a nice looking car, and with nice options. But there are lots more MPerformance options. I think a nice addition would be the CF front splitter, since your other parts are CF, and if you like it the side sills. On the exterior on my car I have: Partly color matched front Splitter Color matched side sills Color matched bootlid spoiler Matt black rear diffuser MPerformance decals MPerformance Grills The only non MPerformance part are the wheels which are off a M6 GC (my current dream car) My parts all came in Matt Black as I wanted to color match certain parts. Here is a pic of my car |

Welcome and sweet wheels. It's begging for a front splitter through ...

New to Bimmer so I got some of option names wrong - looked at my sticker and this is what's included:
19" 403M Leather Dakota Coral Red/Black Aluminum Hex Int. Trim Premium Package Technology Package Driver Assistance Package Driver Assistance Plus Cold Weather Package Black Kidney Grilles Carbon Fiber brake Handle Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps Carbon Fiber Spoiler M Sport Brakes Active Cruise Control HK Sound Automatic High Beams Factory Window Tint Matte Black Rear Diffuser If I do add anything to the car - it will be all M-Performance parts. I don't want to go non-OEM on this one. The MSRP on mine was just over 63k What is the splitter? I do like the front lip....I want to add a little more CF to the car. |

The part at the bottom is the Lip / Splitter.
In MPerformance OEM it comes in either Matt black or carbon fibre. I went matt black to color match the lip |

Looks great. I have so much I want to do as we'll don't know where to turn. I have purchased all the warranties. I am afraid of messing that up. I have over 6,000 to put into parts. And don't know where to begin. I just don't want to void any warranty. Can anyone help ?

That looks awesome - I definitely want to get the CF lip for mine.
Question - does the CF snap over the existing bumper? It looks like I already have the M-Sport lip that sticks out like the splitters would without the lip itself. How much is the M-Performance CF part? |

These are MPerformance parts, which are OEM! They are sold by the BMW dealerships, it will not gave effect on your warranties etc
There are plenty parts available from Aerokits, brakes, suspension, software upgrades, etc etc. Then it seems the lip is stuck on using the same adhesive as what us used on windscreens, & yes it does seem to slip on. I didn't fit mine, my whole kit was painted and fitted by Panelbeaters as we call them here of Panel shop referred to by dealership Go for it guys |
