And 560 nm of torque in the 3.0. That makes a BIG difference.

Maybe in the GC as a 428d but I seriously doubt it as there isn't even a diesel option for the GT's.

I think every BMW should be a diesel:
1) Diesel is currently around $.20 less than premium in most parts of the country
2) Then there is only one grade to worry about.

No more: "can I run 87 octane in my BMW" and "premium is so expensive" threads.

No thanks, I hate diesel, maybe they can just do away with all that low octane fuel and only have 2 like we have

Yes it does!

As a long distance cruiser my 430d is epic. Very quiet with great mileage (all things considered).

Meanwhile, that torque provides real in-gear punch which allows for swift and easy overtaking manoeuvres without needing to ride the revs around town. It also sounds great for a diesel when pushing on.

Sure I'd like a petrol I6 or bigger that I can wind north of 7,000 RPM but, day-to-day, BMW's I6 diesel's are fantastic.

Like I keep saying I was getting less than 30mpg from my 335d which is only 6 to 8 more than my 435i and it was very rough compared to the 435i, give me petrol every time
