Any 2011's with CBU?
Just curious, and if so, how many miles? Also, where can I buy block plates? thanks Gentlemen. I have 25K and no issues, but want to block EGR before it becomes and issue.

It would be good to know what is done by everyone regarding risk factors for CBU.
Fuel brand? Additives? Heavy or light foot? Oil change interval? Strict use of LL04? Electronic engine management recall done? I have had no issues, but notice a steady decrease in mpg - could be my driving style changed, but... I did need a fix of burned out catalytic converters and fouled NOx sensors which happened after I used a fuel stabilizer additive and changed my driving style to one which would normally (in my past cars without a DPF) cause a cloud of black smoke on flooring/downshifting strongly. I believe I dislodged too much crud and put it into the converters which burned them out. Now I routinely do a strong downshift to clear out the crud. Now at 42,000 miles, 50/50 city/highway, daily local trips. No additives. Mostly Texaco diesel. |

Dealer extended my warranty (highest one includes nav) to 100k/7yr no charge |

Four months?? I have never heard of any brand that has had this sort of problem. Mine was in for only 94 days!

32k and all still fine. No performance or mileage degradation yet. I'm told the performance change relative to CBU is slow to notice thing. So, I might not be noticing. Block off kit going in when "other" ecotune work happens shortly. I have intentionally not been driving the car since beginning of year. My daily commute is short (4.2 miles each way) so I'm a prime candidate for CBU. I've been driving 2003 truck back and forth to work and use D for longer/higher speed trips to minimize build up (hopefully).

I bought mine with 34k on it. The SES light came on the second day I had it, and it's been at the dealers since then (going on two weeks) for CBU issues.

I keep track of everything fixed and replace on my car in a spreadsheet. New parts are guarantee for 2Y. If they fail during the warrantee period, I do not have to pay the $50 deductible of my extended warrantee.
