Ballpark lease estimates for 135i?

Question is in the title... What do you figure is a ballpark lease number on a fairly optioned 135i?

I'm thinking around $500 a month with minimal down... what are your thoughts???

this car is going to be very hard to get out of the gates (i have heard limited production), with unknown residuals, and a high money factor i would figure a well opitioned 135i will be around $700 (tax included).

obviously leases are NOT just based on MSRP. for instance my 335Ci pretty much loaded was cheaper by $100 then a 328Cic (vert) same MSRP.

ok maybe 650, but a well equiped will be in the low-mid 40s.....this is NOT a cheap car, plus it has been rumored to be limited distrobution. good luck, and swallow those vurps.

Oy Vey.... so the 135i will lease out at the same numbers as the 335i? Whats the point of making the 1 series anyways then? A cramped 3 series with a little less weight for the same price?

Yeah, You see one and think it would be cheaper, but not this one, they should have just labeled it a small edition 335i

I think when most people see that the 335i isnt much more will get that instead.

time is another factor, the introduction of this new series wil make it difficult to get a good price on!

FYI: a few months after the 335 debut, the lease MF's were on par with the rest of the 3-series lineup (and less than most other models). I think you guys are blowing the 135i pmts out of proportion. My guess is it will come in with residuals and MF's very similar to 335 (currently 58% & .00190). If anyone pays more than 600 for a 135 they are getting ripped off. Period. I would also imagine 128's will be available for low to mid 400's.

335i is not limited production, the 1-series will be. so i am comparing the 135i with 3-series cabrios and you know that there residuals and MFs are way off from res./MF of the sedans/coupes.

yea sprry man but anyone who pays that much for a 1 series is nuts. i pay about 450 for a 3series with an msrp of about 38 so i dont see how i would pay more considering i got my car when it was on high demand. btw its an XI and i live in new jersey so idk about that. yes it will be high, but now that high.

you are comparing a $38k 328xi SEDAN practically option-LESS (as 328xi start at ~35k). the question was asked about an optioned 135i (which has a higher base then yours) and will be in MUCH higher demand then a 328xi sedan?

plus you either got a killer deal or you put some money down to get your payments to $450 (including NJ tax). and the original post said 0 (minimum) down.

so how much do YOU think a 135i lease would be with 0 down and a bunch of options??

OK. Let's get real here.

The big contributors to your lease payments will be the out the door price and the MF/residual.

Based on my experience with leases and specifically BMW leases, and considering that my $44.5K 330i cost me $494 before taxes with zero CCR, I would think that after the furor dies down a well negotiated payment will be in the $475 and up range before taxes for a 36 month 10K or 12K lease with little or no CCR. Just the usual up fronts.

This assumes that the car is generally available for ordering, that the residuals are on par with the 3 series and that BMWFS subvents the MF like they do with the 3 series.

I bought our 330 in it's first year about 8 months after it was released. There was no coupe then and it was the premium model (over the 325). Here in MD, I had no probs working a $1200 over deal all in with no MF mark up and a $625 acquisition fee.

$494 plus tax.

i understand your logic, but comparing the MOST common BMW in the north american market, the 3-series sedan, is an unfair comparison to a 1-series coupe which will be far less common?

I guess we'll see. Personally, I think it is all hype. Can someone confirm the limited production rumor/fact?

I was told I'd have to pay sticker for my E90 back in 2006. Ha!

All else being equal the 135i is only ~2-3k less than the 335i, so expect lease rates ~$30-$50 less per month for a similarly equipped car. Unfortunately its not the bargain we were all hoping for.

my lease on my 335i pretty much fully loaded is $700/mo. i'd expect the 135 to be around 600.
