Can I rent/borrow anyones BT cable?

I need a bt cable but not sure where to get one, so i was wondering if anyone could let me borrow theirs! i need it for a day or two only

im in Philly but ill pay shipping both ways obviously!

Its gonna be hard to convince someone to send you the Bt cable to be honest with you.
You should post in the regional forum and try to get a local guy to give you the cable for couple days.

Not sure if you're aware of this but the BT cable is only good for 3 different VIN's. Letting someone borrow it would significantly reduce it's value. That's why you're not getting any takers.

oh well you see i did not know that. well maybe ill start a new thread about buying a bt cable between 3 people. maybe that could work. do you have the link to buy it?

i heard its like 160-180 which would be 60/person?

Don't bother...the new software is not 100% useable yet. They are still having issues with their coding. You can only read fault and shadow codes and reset them. You cannot reset CBS items.

I'd just buy a used one with a VIN or two left if I were concerned about the price. I've seen them in the E90 classifieds section many times.
