Buying a coupe, to get a 2009 or 2011?

Hello everybody ,
I need an advice.

I am looking to get a 328 coupe, have 18k in cash, im debating which year to get .... it seems like most 09s with 60k miles run around 17k, and 2011 runs around 20k...

I guess I can finance the extra 2-3k if needed....

can anyone give me any pros and cons? in terms of maintenance, reliability... which model is actually a "better" one?

any help is appreciated.

J

I have an 09 coupe 328i, When I bought mine it had 35k miles for 20k with MT nav and m sport options. I got mine in the bay area. I consider myself lucky with the price. I looked around for 3 months so I say be patient don't pull the trigger too quickly. My car has held up really well, then again it's only been 5 months since I've had mine.

As cliché as it might be look at the car facts.
Another thing to see about the CPO
keeping the car running is all about preventative maintenance

Look in to the differences between pre-LCI and LCI. The 2009 would be Pre-LCI and the 2011 would be LCI. There were quite a few tweaks that came along for LCI that you may want to consider.

i have an '09 and the upgraded angel eyes and led tails on the 2011 are very nice

bought the car new, the hpfp never had a problem but was switched out by the dealer anyway and the only big fix i've ever had was the charge pipe cracking and that only just happened last month

^^ That is one big thing (the LED AE's stock) I like.

BTW, he is looking at 328i's so no HPFP or chargepipe issues.
