Was going 90mph a 5.0 came up on me, I gassed it, we hung for a second then he left me in the dust at about 110mph...

Those 5.0's are pretty fast. Do you have a JBD?

I raced a Challenger R/T 3 times from 0-70+, I won each time. Also have CBU and a boost leak lol.

Ya you'd need at least a flash or jbd. I raced my buddies nissan 350z and beat him. Walked away from him from 100 to 140 lol, then shut it down

The GT comes stock with 420 HP/390 TQ. What did you expect, especially if it was modded.

I got a new 5.0 as a loaner 2 weeks ago the dealer was out of bmw's. There quick you dont feel that push back into your seat like the d but once the 5.0 gets going I hit 100 before I knew it. The dealer finished my car quicker then they thought so I didn't get to spend the day with it as planned but nice change. Wouldn't give up my d for it though at the end of the day it's still a ford.

Would you trade your D for a Ford GT.

My potential trade list only have one american car. The corvette.
As nice and strong the mustangs are they still feel very cheap on the details.

Funny, on the way home from Autozone last night, I was behind a coyote Mustang and he was running high revs staying in low gear ahead of me. Since I read the early portion of this thread, I left him alone and stayed the speed limit.

Considering the Camero SS is slower than a SRT8 Challenger, and I beat that with just a JBD. I'd say you have a good chance at winning.

You mean Challenger R/T right? SRT8 is a 12s 1/4 mile car.

I raced a moded R/T Challenger also red Light to 3rd gear mid RPM.
He got the jump, I just eased off the launch for grip. We were exactly neck in neck until I hit 3rd. I started walking away fast after that.

I thought he did pretty good, until I googled it and saw he has stock 370hp. So I guess I did pretty good with jbd set to 80%.

After this I increased Jbd to 90%, and that 10% made the car feel like

Never had limp mode due to jbd.

I thought the SRT8 was the R/T. Well then yes the R/T lol.

I haven't raced much cars in this actually. I never seem to come around any of them when I drive. When I do come across a car, I can't race lol.

The R/T, a 350z and a C300 were I think the only things I've gone against.
