I almost never get excited about American modern muscle cars, but I have to say this has me raising my eyebrow...

Sick. I like the specs but looks wise could be more aggressive.

Oh absolutely- they definitely went old-school with this one.
But I would go so far as to say this is the modern muscle car by which all others will be measured. |

Meh, sure it's powerful, but I think it's ugly. I don't find any new American muscle cars good looking nowadays. (My first car was a Mustang so I'm not totally biased being a Bimmer owner now. Maybe I'm just old school.)

Weight? Heavy.
Looks? Ugly. Height? Tall. Width? Too wide. Why buy this over a next gen C63 AMG coupe which will be shorter, skinnier, weigh less, and look decent with more aerodynamics, and can achieve the same power on paper with a tune? Cuz Murica! #Gunsandburgers

What's so special about this particular release. Never heard of the Mustang GT500 or Camaro ZL1? All Chrysler is doing is coming late to the party (as usual) with their version of the supercharged muscle car.
As far as late model muscle cars I don't understand how anybody could not like them. Just straight bias to hate on them. Over many years now they look good, go fast as hell and even handle well (except the Chrysler's lol). |

So far, looks like the Hellcat will surpass all their American muscle car competitors- at least on the technical specs front. Would I buy one? Probably not. Was I impressed? Yes, even if mildly so. No shame in admitting that brother. |

I think it's always refreshing to have these kinds of discussions, even if not E90 related (see how I snuck that FBO 335 blurb in the title? )
I thoroughly enjoy them. |

Guys go ahead and watch the above YouTube of this Hellcat starting up and revving. It's insane. I wouldn't buy it, but the fact that this type of car can still be made makes me really happy.

i hope they do something crazy handling wise. Every srt i owned or have been in was fast but a death trap around turns!! My srt4 would lift up around turns and it was nerve wrecking lol. Spent about 3k in suspension parts and still pissed myself when taking turns.
