Looking online to get a quote for shipping outside the US

To various countries. What do you guys and vendors use?

When I'm parting out certain parts, I often get responses from folks in Canada for example, and would like to be able to provide them the service of shipping my items to them at a fair price.

SEKO logistics for big items. But honestly shipping outside the CON. 48 states is really a big headache, and costs so much

I once paid $600 to ship a set of wheels to vancouver, never again.

I noticed that. I think that, as much as it sucks, I might have to defer shipping outside the US. Then again, I shipped a license plate frame to a friend in Manitoba, and it wasn't expensive at all. I was hoping to get an OCC to someone in Canada.

For Canada, it purely depends on which part of canada. I leave near the USA border in washington state and just have my stuff shipped near the border and carry it over myself. If shipping to vancouver thats usually the best option rather than shipping directly in.

FedEX can do ground delivery to Canada for a fair price. I think they give you additional discount if you print label online.

I also suggest FedEx Ground. Please don't not ship to Canada. It's very frustrating for us when we want to buy something and you guys don't let us
But yeah, like Ali604, I'm fortunate to live near the border and have been picking up all my car part purchases from across the border.

It's fairly cheap to send most parts to Canada, but the cost goes up a ton for large, heavy parts.
I once shipped some axles to Kazakhstan and it was a nightmare! I always ship with USPS when I'm shipping items to other countries because FedEx and UPS charge premiums. USPS customer service is also a PITA to deal with, so just hope it shows up on time without any issues.

Beware of max package dimensions/weights when shipping to other countries. I didn't realize the largest box size to kazakhstan was roughly 42" long and the axle I was shipping was 41.5" long. Thank goodness it just barely fit and made it without any issues!
I've had issues with USPS when shipping to Australia and other far destinations, but I've never had a problem shipping to Canada or any of the 50 states with USPS. When I ship in the US though I almost always use FedEx/UPS.

USPS generally, but I have used DHL to receive int'l shipments before and was pretty pleased. I hate UPS/FedEx due to the outrageous brokerage fees they charge.

+1. Exactly why I use USPS too.
I just hate dealing with their customer service when an issue does arise, but its worth it for the cheaper prices. Also, if USPS makes an error they will refund you for shipping but its a total PITA to get that refund. Their hold times on the phone are almost always 30-60 minutes...
Don't even get me started on their annoying automated answering machine!

USPS priority with tracking is my primary way of shipping for my customers too.
