Comfort seats (from the e60) into an e90? possible?

i wonder, is it possible to put the comfort seats from the e60 into the e90?
the comfort seats have quite a few more movement axis, and probably draw more current in addition to having a different bolt pattern....
but can it be done?
has it been done?
can it be done without bothering with programming? (even if it prevents memory functions)?

I looked into this before and I'm sure I found something saying the seats themselves are too wide. That's before you even get to the wiring/coding to get everything to work.

I never bothered in the end, but if you do try please post your findings

oh poop, that would certainly put a damper on things. what about the e60 sport seats though? although those might have the same problem

That's awesome if they fit, but there there's still the issue of leathers matching. Any shot at the rears fitting too?
