Service Engine warning light

I drive 2009 328i coupe. It only has 67k. Is there any guess why I have this issue now? How to fix it?

You need to pull the codes. Car's not happy about something.

That's an easy fix, all you do is take the car to the dealer and trade it in for another car. Boom!!! That's how you fix it bro!!

Service engine soon can mean anything. No one will be able to tell you exactly what it is. It may not be a huge problem it's just telling you something isn't right. Get the codes pulled and go from there.

Scanner

Go to pretty much any auto parts store, buy the $60 OBD scanner and read the codes. They are simple to use, cheap and you can look up the codes and the fix on line. Most of the time, you'll be able to fix it yourself.

Put some black tape over the check engine light to mask it... Problem fixed.
