Loud Squeeking noise in steering wheel

Only happens in the morning when i first start the car, if its a bit cold out. Makes a loud screeching/squeeking maybe even creeking noise. Then goes away.

Any ideas?

Silicone spray on the slip yoke under the dash fixed mine. Noise was a high pitched squeak coming from gauge cluster area. Had to remove the lower panel under the dash.

Use the search bar or google, there's plenty of tutorials on how to fix this as it happens to a large majority of e9x's in cold weather.

Always happened to me in the cold mornings but its went away since it's gotten warmer.

Didn't have to remove the wheel like the last few posts, just had to stand on my head for 5 mins
