E90 sedan sports package includes:
- 17" wheels (instead of 16")
- Sports seats (have adjustable thigh bolsters)
- Sports tuned suspension (stiffer and about 1/2" lower)
- Performance run flat tires (instead of all-seasons)
- Sports steering wheel (has aluminum trim)
- Speed limiter raised from 130 to 150 or 155

You can check with your VIN number using this VIN decoder website to see what package(s) and other items are installed on your car:

Sport seats is most sure way. They have the leg extender part in front of seat if so instead of non sport being all one piece

Car might have been tuned. That would have eliminated the speed limiter.

Steering wheel. If the steering wheel is flat, you have a base. If there is a raised round compartment where the airbag goes, you have the sport package.

OP didn't state if he has a E90 or E92 I believe all E92s come with a sports steering wheel.

Good point. What I said applies to the e90, i.e. the sedan.

Too bad taking a picture of the outside and inside of his car is so hard.

You have to buy film... take the picture... have it developed... then take it to Kinkos to have them put in on CD.

The times we live in.

Easy way to tell is the seats...

Do your seats have the side bolsters? Do they have the "leg extension" ?

If so you most likely have the sport package.

Ride height is not always the way to tell because the AWD models with sport packages do NOT come with the lower sport suspensions like the RWD models have.

Sport packages for AWD vs RWD, and sedan vs. coupe are all a little different though, so... it kind of 'depends'

It's an old hwy that is no longer used because they put a new hwy in. They changed the direction of the pavement. I'm pretty sure it's considered closed since there are no houses and it's a dead end.

Yeah so you have a speedometer set at 130MPH. If you had it set to 155 you would be hitting a bit over 160 at top speed. In this case it is fairly safe to say you don't have ZSP (sports package).

Yes the speedo in all European cars is slightly off. This is done on purpose.

How much over 130 did you go? BMW sets the speedo's on their cars to be a little bit fast (~5% faster than your actual speed). When you're going 130mph that can add up to 5-7mph.
For example, my 535i is definitely limited to 150 but I've had the speedo close to 160 before when I felt it cut off.
I agree with the others, sounds like a non-sport.
