Are 335i coolant systems crap?
I'm a salesman at a used car lot with over 200 vehicles. Seems every BMW we have has issues. Two 335i s this week have randomly spewed coolant out of the bottom of them both 2007 models. And are in our shop , also this week a 07 530i coolant system blew along with the water pump and spewed out of the bottom all after driving them just one street. I have a 328i and have never had those issues . Anyone else have major problems with the 335i or 535i cooling system ? I ask this cause I'm stuck between a high mileage 545i or 535i both over 100k to buy for myself and am concerned . I'm looking to sell one of them to a client after the issues are resolved . How much do they cost per year to maintain passed 100k? 335i?

i wouldn't get either the 545i or 535i esp cuz thats the first year they made the N54 engine. but there isn't any faults or recalls on the 335i cooling systems aside from the electrical water pump failing but thats every bmw. i would save more money if i was you and get a low mileage 535i u won't regret it.
