Sorry; forgot to mention it's a 2007.

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about buying a 335i and wanted some input from seasoned buyers/sellers.

KBB puts this car at $19.5k when buying from a dealer. That seems a little high so I wanted to get some feedback on it.

It's a bone stock e92 335i, 6mt with 69,790 miles.

It is equipped with the following:

Comfort access
Cold weather pkg
Premium pkg
Sport pkg
Navigation
Rear parking sensors
Logic7
Active steering
Rear sun blind
OEM 18" 189 wheels

As far as I can tell, no noticeable scratches/dings and interior looks nicely maintained.

Carfax shows the car was involved in a minor accident, hit the front passenger side but airbags didn't deploy.

Any idea of what would be a fair offer for this car? Dealer currently has it listed at $20.5k

Thanks.

Garage List
2009 BMW 135i  [0.00]
2017 BMW M3  [0.00]
What year? And I'd think $19K would be about fair.

$17k to $18k - because its been in an accident and doesn't have a clean Carfax. If no accident, then probably $19k to $20k from a dealer

Hmm. Alright guys, thanks for the input.

Aside from the accident, the carfax is ok, shows regular maintenance and it's only a 2 owner vehicle.

I'm going to start negotiating at $17k and see where it goes.

Also, does anyone know what it means when carfax lists a vehicle as a corporate fleet vehicle? The first owner had it registered as corporate fleet and the 2nd owner had it registered for personal use.

Thanks!

"Corporate Fleet" either means that the vehicle was titled to a business and likely driven by an executive as part of their benefit package, or, was bought by someone who titled it under their business as a business asset for tax purposes i.e. a real estate agent...

I'm not sure.

I will call my local BMW dealer and give them the vin of the car to see if turbos/HPFP has been replaced, though I'm not too worried since turbos and HPFP got extended warranties from BMW, 8yr/82k miles and 10yr/120k miles respectively, for the 2007 models.
