Shipping my BMW

Hi all,

We are moving from Florida to California in the summer. We have two cars and we are planning to ship one and drive the other one cross country. Could any fellow Bimmerpost member recommend a good company to use to ship my car? or share their experience. I heard it is a unregulated industry and lots of fraud has happened in the past.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have had two great experiences shipping classic cars with Intercity from Florida to NYC. I have heard good things about Reliable.

+1. Used them to ship my 911 from the East Coast. Enclosed carrier, well taken care of, and competitive price.

Check with the company moving your household goods. They may be able to take your car as well.

Just put it in the truck with your household stuff. I did that the last time I moved.

I just shipped my wife's 128i Convertible from TX to NC with North American Vehicle Transport (NAVT). Very reasonable price and good service.

Might want to check out the Rennlist forum under Concours section. There is a Rennlist site sponsor called AngelsTransport, the actual name I believe is Angels Moving Autos. I don't know anything about them but might be worth looking into as you explore all your options.
